The grade 4 to 8 students had a great day last week celebrating reading during Authorfest! We welcomed two classes from Fern PS for the day. In the morning, students attended two out of ten possible workshops. They had fun building structures, making music, and learning how to illustrate, among other things.
In the afternoon, we had a blast listening to and learning from Eric Walters! He is a fabulous speaker and had some great insights to share with both students and teachers. The hour went by so fast! We wish he was here longer!
